Thailand Overland Tours or Overland Packages (OVL) are packaged tours that start off from Bangkok and journey through central plain to North and North-East of the country with 12 tours of your choice.
Generally, Overland and North Overland Tours are divided into 2 basic categories, that is, Private and Seat-In-Coach (or SIC).
Although some Overland and North Overland Tours (OVL & NRT) are arranged on either Private or Seat-In-Coach basis only, some tours offer both options.
But what are the differences between Private and Seat-In-Coach Tour?
On a private tour, you can enjoy the full aspect of private facilities i.e. guide and car without having anyone else joining the same tour with you; but, of course, the tour price is more expensive than another tour category.
In contrast, on a Seat-In-Coach, you join others on the same tour; and thereby the tour cost is considerably cheaper than a private tour.
The choice is yours on which type of tours meet your needs and budget.
